Leave it to modders, then, as with the creator of Mass Effect At War: Continued, a revival of an older project which sees you commanding fleets of Mass Effect's varied factions in battles for all out domination and conquest.
Addictive roguelike action, permanent unlocks, a hugely varied progression system, and all for a one time price? That's Vampire Survivors, and it's not too good to be true - this indie sleeper hit has taken the internet by storm for bringing players back, over and over, for just one more run.
DOOM 3 is an interesting pick for DOOM fans, with some loving it for its horror focus and others preferring the newer games for their power trips. Modders going both ways have had plenty to do with the game, and DOOM 3 Retaliation is a mod aiming to refresh this survival horror classic with new weapons, new enemies, and revised map layouts.
