Q: Will it support Oculus Rift?
A: No. The only hardware that is supported is Nerve Gear.

A: If you would like to help with development of the game please go to our forums, and post what you are experienced with doing.
Q: Can I register for the beta now?
A: No. The game is not even close to being in beta. There will be a further notice.
Q: Can I play it now?
A: No. The game is still in development.
Q: Permadeath is supported?
A: Yes.
Q: How many quests are there going to be per floor?
A: 100-150 unique quests but it's a subject to change.
Q: Will there be any hidden/special quests?
A: Of course.
Q: Will the quests be related to the show?
A: Not all the quests, some of them will be related to the Anime like a story mode .
Q: Will we be able to do quests more than once?
A: Yes. There will be repeatable quests also.
Q: How exactly will the perma-death work?
A: Well Cardinal should regeister death when the players heath reaches zero then it will delete the character from its database, meaning that if you are married all items go to spouse. Then you will be prompted into the character creation area to make a new character where you will then start at level 1 on floor 1.
Q: What kind of internet connection is going to be required?
A: Highspeed.
Q: Will there be skills that have nothing to do with battle? (e.g, Blacksmithing and cooking)
A: Yes there be skills like cooking,woodworking, fishining and many more.
Q: The test process (Alpha and BETA) will be done on NG or PC?
A: The BETA will be on the NG.
Q: Will the game release for free?
A: There might apply a small fee. Subject to change in the future.
Q: The test part (BETA) will be an open or a close one?
A: The BETA test will be a closed one.
Q: There will be multiple servers or just one?
A: There would be only ONE server, that means there would be a limited amount of copies.
Q: Will the armor use level system or it will level up with the player?
A: The armor will depend on the players stats. Subject to change in the future.
Q: Will the mirror feature be available?
A: Maybe. We never thought about that.
Q: Will the bosses respawn so everyone can fight them?
A: No the bosses won't respawn.
Q: How the critical hit will work?
A: If you hit on a certain spot/s will land a critical strike.
Q: Will you trap us into the game?
A: It might be tempting but we don't want to get sued.
Q: Will we create all 100 floors and 100 bosses?
A: Yes all 100 floors and 100 boses will be available.

A: We would love to do so.

A: Yes and also you can marry someone.

A: Players can buy their own buildings, which they can turn into shops, guild halls etc.

A: The estimated date for the release is the same date it came out in the light novels November 6th, 2022.
Q: Is the project dead?
A: No, the project was never dead.
Q: Will precipitation be in the game?
A: Yes, There will be seasons such as summer, winter, fall, and spring.

A: No, the game issn't even close to beta.

A: We are starting out with 10,000 copy's of SAO.

A: Yes, Col is the main currency of the game.

A: Yes, it should work the same way.

A: Yes, you can buy a shop/house and do whatever you want with it.
Q: Are you actually making the Nerve Gear? Or is it going to be a mixed version of the Oculus Rift, Omni, Virtual Gloves, and possibly the Epoc?
A: We are making the Nerve Gear.
Q: Will there be special items in the game that you would only be able to get from a boss fight?
A: There will be last attack bonus items at the end of each boss fight. There will also be unique items found within the game.
Q: How will the beta testers be chosen?
A: They will be chosen at random.
Q: Will the Nerve Gear include all the senses?
A: Most if not all.
Q: How much will the Nerve Gear cost?
A: $900-$2,000. But there will be sales.
Q: What will the graphics look like?
A: They will be realistic.
Q: Will there be special skills that only few players can achieve such as dual wielding?
A: Yes, there will be skills that only a few players can get with their player status. If that player dies the skill will go to the next player with the highest ____ status.

when you die the game will erase your characters date and you will be prompted to the character creation area
please read all of post before commenting... It says that you are taken back to the character creation menu upon death.

Omg i can't believe an anime will have a game so closely related to its self. And the nerve gear i can't wait for :), also i bet you that non anime fans will buy this game. Can't freaking wait for this!!! So hyped but also this game probably will surpase all other games!!!

Ok so instead of making quests like every game why not have it to where the players can make quest for other players and when you do this depending on the type of quest say assassination for example both the quest maker and player who completed said quest would gain speed and stealth skill points? im not trying to argue its just a suggestion

Im a HUGE fan of what your doing here and i cannot absolutely wait for this to come out and i was so interested in playing this game that i actually found a team so we could make a game like this but come to figure out you guys were already in process so there was no need and when ever beta comes out i will pay just about any price to just be a part in the creation of this truly awe inspiring game that you guys are working very hard to create not just for anime fans but the world

here is a question for your faq, will you be able to do dual sword like kirito or is that only a one person gets this ability like in the anime? also can you work on every skill or do you have to select and specialize in only a few?

They could use a battery, or something like that, included in the gear that, can give you, for example, 1 minute to finish doing whatever you do and then, close the game.
But if your power goes out so does your internet connection.

After you finish the game will perma-deaths be disabled? And what kind of resolution are you going to use? Somewhere around the same resolution of the human eye would be cool.
I think that, more than disable, they could create a restore point right after winning the game. So, if you lose after that, you won't have to "pass" the game again. And, for example, with the Oculus, they pretend to present a 4k resolution at the end, so, I think these guys could do the same.
I have a question. Since there is a final boss for each floor of its dungeon, when the boss is killed, is it permanently deleted from the database(no respawning boss)? Because for those players who start later in the game won't be able to fight the boss and there are those people who play games 24/7... I was just curious.
This made me curious myself. I would have to suggest the idea of having the bosses be individual to people, so if you go in with a group of people who have yet to defeat the boss, once defeated the whole group will no longer need to fight that boss to get past it, BUT for another group of players they would still have to defeat the boss in order for them to reach the next level (just my thoughts on how it could work really)
the bosses wont respawn but if there are many people who want to fight the bosses a new server will be made
How about they make the option to fight the bosses already defeated in one of the arenas?
But if the bosses don't respawn, a person that come late will just have to pass level after level whitout having to fight?

what does it mean when it says only nerve gear is supported,nerve gear is just a virtual gaming device in the show?
They basically mean that they will create the nerve gear and only will be focus on adapt the game specifically to this device.
I just have to wonder, this will be on a PC right? Sorry but in the FAQ it mentioned Nerve Gear which confused me a little when on the main page it said that the platform was Windows. Thanks in advance and I love the idea you guys have!

Hello Senji, I might not be the expert that you're looking for, but I know the answer to that question. If you're in a group and you all defeat the beast together than you go to the next round. But, to make it fair, other people have to go through the same thing.
For the perma death, you should revise this because if someone gets hacked then there is no way of recovering the damage for the player..
Hmm sorry if i sound agressive, vut how the hell could someone hack you? I mean comeone the data and your account are saved in the NG so? If someone bangs into your room that's your problem :)

Does the NerveGear or NG is complete? Will it be sold to the whole world or just some country? How much will be the cost for the hardware? I really a big fan of MMORPG but im just a student so i cant afford if the price is too high. I really hope for the answer.. ThankYou for reading...

its a small company so assume the hundreds or even less unless a bigger company wants to sell them too
