The Game Pencil Engine is a new cross-platform game development tool which started as an engine mainly for creating Wii U and HTML5 games, but is expanding to support as many platforms as possible. The license for the current Build, but future versions will be Creative Commons Attribution CC BY - Attribution Required. The current build is a tech demo of the engine and does not supporting saving, loading or exporting. A new version on May 7, 2015 will support this however.
