download this. guide it to:

you will need java to open the file.

once you've done this extract the dll and config files and put them into the "mods" folder in TLD folder.

once in game hit shift+ \ to bring up the console. Hit "help". you may edit lots of things via the config file such as the key for the jump ability or toggle some cheat options off like "max all skills" by setting it to false.

which command are you using? also, if you hit "esc" to pause you can scroll the console.

Ok, now i see the UMod watermark on my menu, but the Shift+\ don't work in game, can you help me?

Did you use the instructions I wrote above?

the key is above "enter" and below backspace has | and \ on it.
it's called "backslash"
shift is "left shift"

hit f1-f6. if it asks "allow cheats" then the mod is working and you've just been using the wrong key.

if it still doesn't work try opening the config file

find these lines near the top of the config file

and change "backslash" and "leftshift" to any key you wish. There is a list of keys at the bottom of the file, you can copy paste those.

Make sure you are not using 2 keybinds for the same function.

2. if you mean when using the modloader installation then when you are in managed go to the bottom right of the selection window and select rewired_core.dll via the drop down tab/menu.

I am using the latest version of the game aka 1.21 and the 1.7 version of umod.

All is working as intended.

1. Have you closed and opened the game?(as in to the desktop not to the main menu)
2. Try a clean save.
3. Try reinstalling the game, repatching with modloader and then use a fresh download of Umod.
4. do you have any other modes installed? I don't why any of them would bother Umod since they don't really interfere but it's worth a shot checking if 1 or more is disrupting Umod.

if none of these work I got nothing sadly. The mod is up to date. I will however mention this to the current mod author.

Disregard. The modloader said it patched, but that was a false positive. I was not aware I needed to first place both the DLL and the text file in steam mods folder. This is working properly, it's my brain that was not.

which button are you using? if you are seeing the red text in the top left corner then the mod is installed(if it is improperly installed the game is supposedly going to tell you) and if the mod IS installed then hitting any hotkey related to Umod should bring up the "allow cheats" box. You must hit confirm for Umod to work.

Try a simple one. Hit f1 to initiate flight mode and then hit space to land or esc to return to where you "flew" from. If that works then perhaps you are using the wrong key or key combination for the developer console.

Please note : hitting f1 while mid flight will place you exactly where you are including the height which means you will sustain damage or die if you are high above the ground, hitting space will place you on the ground safely, hitting esc will return you to where you were. Please keep in mind that predators can still attack you in your original position if you have not landed elsewhere.

hmm. I am not the mods author but I can mention it to them if I get the chance.

Anyhow. Try the command "clear" to get rid of clutter lines.

and as for itemlist command - i don't use it. If I want an item I will just hit additem and name it. Usually the console will be helpful and ask you if you meant another item.

So if I try "additem bear" it will ask if i mean the raw meat, cooked meat, hide, cured hide or coat.

BUT...

if you do use itemlist you must add tools, food,clothing etc(i don't know all the commands for itemlist) otherwise it will give you a fairly long list but it will not include all the items(which is why i rarely ever use it)
