Full details for installation and playing the game can be found in the tar file, in "README - release notes - linux.txt"

Create a directory somewhere to install and run the game from, e.g. somewhere like /home/mygames/trb
Extract everything in the tragic-boundabout.tar archive file into this directory
cd into the directory from the command line and run the game using the command ./tragic-boundabout-game
(change the file permission so it is executable if it complains, which it shouldn't)

Everything necessary to run the game is contained in tragic-boundabout.tar
