I really like the idea, but what exactly is the point of this?
It would be way more interesting to do this the other way round. I have tried this in the past and have actually managed to upgrade the engine to 1.32A.3E.
Sadly the bonus missions stop working.
I did it not only to test my bug-fixing, but so other people who don't have the expansion can play it in mod format.
