Sorry we've been away for so long, but with this version we have some exciting news:
We just added a new lead programmer!
Welcome Curtis!
He will be standing up our dialogue system as well as helping clean up the core content functionality. Curtis has basically had to start from scratch, please keep that in mind when looking through our updates:
Changes in this version:
- Dialog options implemented
- Text scrolls out one letter at a time
- Click to display all text at once
- Can select dialog options using direction keys
- NPCs to sit in non occupied tables
- Player can sit in chairs
- Tutorials now more consistent and informative
- Tweaks to NPCs looking at the player to speak
- Tweaks to main menus button positions
Known Bugs:
- Timer is broken
- Dialog mode and Ask Out Mode UI are stuck on screen
- Relationship debug is currently not showing
- No click functionality for dialogue menus
- Pamela doesnt automatically talk to the player when they enter the restaurant
- Player cannot get up from chair without speaking
- Black screen freeze when trying to return to main menu from pause menu
- Tutorials dont fade away after time
- Some lights in the room flicker
- All NPCs use the same dialogue
- Player can sit in a chair occupied by green NPCs after they roatate
- Player can go to table 2 early
