Ant vein pit complete (Yuri Grinder), New Unleashed AI difficulty level that uses OP units, Improved iron curtain FX
The mod runs on the latest stable release of OpenRA, Release-20170421.
To install the mod, just extract yupgi_alert.oramod then double click on it. If it doesn't work, find your game directory and unzip run_opmod.cmd and yupgi_alert.oramod into C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenRA-20170421\mods then run the game with run_opmod.cmd.
- New Unleashed AI difficulty that uses most of the OP units!
- Vein Pit can now grind friendly units to get 50% of unit's build cost back. (like RA2 Yuri Grinder)
- Buzzers from Buzzer Hive will not kill other Buzzers with friendly fire anymore.
- Kirov Carrier now costs 3000 (from 2000)
- Desolator's AoE eradication damage buffed 2.5x
- Chrono Miners can now teleport itself, like Chrono Tanks. Useful for escaping from threats
- Soviet Paratrooper support power nerfed to drop only 50 people (was 100).
- Iron curtain effect looks better
- Tiberian Fiend's attack is now more visible
- Improved performance when there are many Kirov Carriers

Yes, it was. Between AI games, Soviets almost always beat Allies due to paradrops :(
To install just unzip yupgi_alert.oramod to whatever folder you want and double-click it, it open it with OpenRA automatically.
I just unzip it to Documents/OpenRA/mods

Oh and try build a supply truck and select it to check what happens. XD
I've added about double click. If double click works thats good... On my desktop double click doesnt work + Im not even sure how the system will react when there are multiple versions of OpenRA is installed, which will be allowed in the future.

I will rephase my bug report, all units can enter all buildings (didnt test the 'all' but I am pretty sure) to be grinded. XD
I just found that out too! It is supply truck logic sucking in all other units!
I just found a really nice exploit with the supply logic on units, sell building so you get your free techicians (they are you best buddies) obviously they are so usefull that cost 1000$ and with your bug put the on a building and claim your free 500$, selling power plants wasn't more worth of.
Even without this bug, in teams if one teammate has mutant and the other not, the no-mutant teammate can sell technicians on Vein Pit of his friends. XD
If you manage to fix it, dont forget that supply truck give whole amount of money and not half.
If I remember correclty in original RA, you could sell units at repair pad. If there is such thing you can use it on Vein Pit.
But is there any really use of this Pit grinder?
Except if out of money and not have any drone ant (ultra rare).
You can't REPAIR ants, not even on supply depots. To make most of near-death units, they should be grinded!
Actually in my older RA2 mods, I allowed construction of up to 4 cloning vats, which means infinite production of units. 1/2 of them to combat and 1/2 of them into grinder. I'm thinking of introducing this system instead of tib trees.
I like tib trees it slow kills anything that is not ant, it has some defense purpose and they are infinte money, like labor camps of soviet.
But do whatever you like!
