I am on a crappy dual core and a very mediocre graphics card. Runs 1900 by 1200 resolution with "beautiful graphics" flawlessly. The game is pretty fun once you get the controls down for the mechs.
What a buggy, pathetic computer rig... such awesome power and so little knowledge of how to use it? The game runs fine. Go learn how to defrag your hard drive, remove spyware, avoid bogging down your CPU i/o with a bunch of useless slag and then come back here and try again. You'll find that it's definitely not "pathetic".
Especially for something created out of love by a bunch of devoted fans who are giving this to everyone for free. What have *you* released or achieved that is more worthy, hmm?

Thanks for the kind words. It's always great to hear fans considering the developer's viewpoint when it comes to complaints. Additionally, it's a treat to see one of the idiots who think that computer problems are always everyone else's fault get shut down.
Though, if some of you do find actual glitches or gameplay problems in specific circumstances, you're welcome to civilly bring them to our attention on our forums or in these comments; we'll fix them as we can.

still got the problem? you should first go to tutorial then quit on it, that's my workaround on my i3 powered machine. it should not lag however you should do this every time you want to play

might be an issue on the processor side, not any defrag, spyware, etc thing. This lag happened to me (I'm using an i3 core) and gladly i found a workaround to solve this. let's just wait for some updates regarding to the said situation.

Couldn't find any games, couldn't figure out how to get it to work with my gamepad, no auto gamepad configuration (seriously? You should always have one, I don't know what half the things do so how could I even set them if I wanted to?)
Would like to see those fixed so I could actually play it.
You will find that most games on PC dont have game pad support. The ones that do usually have console counterparts. Ontop of that 95% of the mods/indi games here dont have support for gamepads.
This game wasn't made to be played with one so we wont be adding such support. there is free software out there that will convert gamepad input into mouse and keyboard input though.
He wasn't asking for support (anyway Unity has support for gamepads), he wasn't asking for tuning the game to play with gamepad. READ what was written, and not what YOU THINK was written. No offensive. he was asking for predefined profile. Guess it's not THAT hard to put in default config some buttons for some popular gamepad (like x360's one).
and most games for pc have gamepad support. even indies. even free games. almost every game has gamepad support. get out from bunker, plz, pc gaming isn't that unfriendly difficult buggy crap it was before, time's changing.
You should really read over hist post again. He was obviously complaining about there being no support for game pads. Which was the only one of his complaints that was not legitimate. Its actually, ridiculous really. Everything I said in my comment is completely true, and your comments are so silly that im trying hard to believe you aren't a troll.
you need to use your mouse to aim anyway. it'd be really hard to set up using a gamepad and a mouse at the same time.
And you can't use your gamepad to aim:
yaw, pitch, roll, look vertical, look horizontal. gamepads only have 4 axis, not five.
LIER. mouse have only 2 axes, keyboard has none. gamepad have six.
Of course, it has some bugs, and the interface isn't easy to get buuuuut...This is great! The feeling of flying an LFO and surfing on the sky is there! I have been trying surfing moves and it looks awesome. Also, the Eureka spawning "mode" has lot of bugs :P... but on the air? Its awesome. Maybe a direct "spawning menu" would be much easier to "get"
Anyways, about performance? E2140 at 2.8ghz, HD4670 and it works perfectly at maximum graphics! :D

every time I try to launch the game, it says that the "Lift_Data" folder is not there, when it clearly is, any idea how I can fix this?
