I'm releasing prealpha version of my roguelike game - Ignite. Travel in random generated world, gather resources, craft various items and fight with fierce wolves!
To run Ignite you will need Microsoft Net Framework 4.0 (you can get it here - Go.microsoft.com ) and Microsoft XNA framework 4.0 (you can get it here - Microsoft.com), but you already may have them installed (because many games require them). Also you must have Shader Model 1.1 and DirectX 9.0c compatible video card.
Features:
- Random generated levels with various terrains (dirt, grass, snow, sand)
- Resource gathering and crafting system (14 unique recepies implemented so far)
- Interesting combat system with body zones (you can hit arms or head ...) and unique wound effects for every zone (punctured lung, damaged muscle, hamstring ...)
- Day/night cycle
- Player can build own house with gathered resources
- One enemy (so far) - wild wolf
ESC will shut down an application.
TAB will open inventory/crafting menu.
This game are in pre-alpha state so you may (and will) encounter bugs and not yet implemented features.
