Can this be used with Captains Edition and the SMPolish mod? I use both of them while playing FTL, but i would love the graphical enhancements you have added as well. Perhaps you could contact the Dev from CE and ask him if you could merge your project into CE. I think that would be an amazing thing and would really help the look of the game. Thanks.
As long as you put this mod last in your load order, anything that isn't coded for different image files (which is most things) works. For now I want to stick with a version that's just for the vanilla game, for the people that don't want any gameplay changes, but once (if) I finish that I'm definitely planning on expanding into other mods like CE if I can. Hopefully by the end there'll be versions for all the big ones.
So will using this along side CE break or cause any bugs within the game, if i load it last? The "NO FUEL" GIF that you just posted made me realize how much work went into this. Hopefully the mods will play nicely together because your enhancements are top notch. Let me know what you think.

No bugs that I found, but some of CE's custom art will still override mine.

The kestrel texture doesn't load right when I play. how can I fix it?
It has the engines, doors in wrong places and the bottom right of the ship is missing.
oh and weapons are floating off of the kestrel.
don't know if this has to do with the steam verison though.
