For some reason for my HP laptop the windowsX84 is very laggy although it worked and the windowsX64 didn't work whatsoever at all. I was wondering which one would work but not be so laggy?

Well the physics simulation is kinda hard on the CPU, sadly, the x64 version will perform better but only if your OS is 64 bit compatible

You'll need to go to the following location to download & install the microsoft visual C++ runtime redist package
Microsoft.com
That should resolve the issue

Amazing game, but for a suggestion to make the game better would be an increase on the pickup radius with the more tech you get or a new drop would make the game more interesting. Keep up the good work!

This looks like a super rare error, no answers within the Unity community besides a suggested cause. I'll keep looking but, you may find the x86 version works for you.

Out of interest, are you using Windows 8?

No, I'm using a cracked version of win 7 Ultimate, but it updates just fine like the real thing. I generally don't have any problems with 3D gaming.

Cool game, but man does it kill my framerate!

Yeh sorry about that, it's really heavy on the CPU. You can try killing off other applications that would be using CPU, that would help

i really like this game. its really simple and entertaining. this type of game is very rare but it one of my favorite styles. are you thinking about adding anything to it or building simaler games.

i could see this game with a few more obsticals and a longer play time. maybe an orb that repairs the field and another shape that is more aggressive and will seek you out occasionally.

IT keeps saying "Data Not Found . There should be 'Env x64_Data' folder next to the executable " . What do i do ?

Reply Good karma Bad karma0 votes

SamChester - - 167 comments

You need to keep the .exe and the _data folder together after you unpack the zip folder. Try unpacking the contents of the zip again, and run the exe without moving it from that folder. If you want to move the exe, you need to move the _data folder with it

My computer can play Rust with fraps recording at 30 fps and 720p, but it can't play this with fraps closed at anything higher than 5 fps on the lowest resolution. I know it takes alot of CPU for the physics, but how can such a simple indie game be so demanding? I have a pretty good CPU....

Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote
SamChester Author
SamChester - - 167 comments

If turning down the resolution & graphics settings doesn't help the fps, then the bottleneck is on your CPU, whereas rendering a game & recording is generally on the gfx card. You may want to try it with any other programs that may be using the cpu closed, I tried with an old poorly specced laptop, when closing other applications i got ~20 fps

What CPU do you have?

I need big help Adrianis. I use Bitdefender Total Security 2013 Antivirus.
When I start to download the game, my ****** antivirus just simply blocks my access to download the game.
Can you make a direct download to mediafire?

Try disabling your anti-virus before trying the download, then enable it again once it's done
