This is stable enough for campaigns,you can camp on your ship now,added floris fishing option if you camp on your ship,moved turins port,moved wasudil and gave it a port,moved glumar and gave it a port,lords should build more at their holdings,downgraded to pbod .91 for now,got battle continuation working,take the field option works now,pbod preferences are now in the camp take an action menu,moved midart and gave it a port,the overhead battlemap no longer gives errors,wse error on map placement is gone,shield bash and new spear animations should be in the game now,screen printout should stay working,went through lords names making corrections,can't use vanilla animations anymore,made a few changes to the AI campaign,new factions start the game at war with each other,bodyguards are guaranteed a horse now,changed cost of village enterprises so a beginning character has a chance of affording one,added the last 36 bishops and abbots,King Yaroglek no longer sits in his castle doing nothing

ok, the game won't even load. It crashes at the start saying it can't load the textures or something
did you follow the installation instructions? either you didn't unzip the three inside folders or you didn't use the extract here option and have a folder in a folder

Hi lorDric.
I installed the empire III beta 3 following the installation instructions. I couldn't use the "extract here" so i unzipped it the folders and checked inside to clear the double folders.
I saw another ressource folder in the ressource folder, but let it here to see what would happen. Then i launched the game using WSE, and it worked.
After that i installed the patch and boom :
"unable to open..ressources/pirate_icon.brf"
So i copy pasted the content of the second ressource folder, and deleted it, but the error message still remains.
Any idea ?

Same issue, I get an error saying that I cannot open the Resource folder but it's the textures.brf file specifically.
I unzipped everything in order (+ all 5 patches).
My resource folder only has:
Pirate_icons.brf
Pirate_materials.brf
Pirate_Ships.brf
Am I missing something? Did you find a solution?
Not sure how to edit comment... I fixed it somewhat, I unzipped the Texture file that was hiding in some shady place ;)
I now have like a 4.6 gb texture file with loads of stuff in it, but the error persists
I have updated all paches 1~5, but when I put my troops in "outpost" I can't take them back. "take" is grey.
please more info, outpost stage 1, outpost stage 2, fort?

outpost stage 3 (spent 10000 to build) and just 1 outpost.
it's fort. not outpost.(spent 10000 to build) just 1 fort.
