Version 1.0 (0.1) First alpha release version for deadline/review only. Will most likely be updated further in the near future.
Please turn on subtitles and CC! I cannot stress that enough! There is no voice acting as of yet so that's basically a prerequisite.
As of right now the mod is an an alpha state and is rather rough. It's missing some key gameplay features and has a few bugs, but otherwise is playable from start to finish. Here are the issues that I am aware of:
-The Erin NPC in Map 2 is not finished and is not set up properly
-The snow_cover decals look poor in some places and need to be cleaned up
-Some of the areas are hard to traverse due to static prop placement
-The .hps file in Map 3 occasionally calls VoiceOver lines from the base game even though all references to those lines have been changed. This leads to a discrepancy between what is displayed on screen by subtitles and what is heard and may cause confusion or other issues.
-The old 00_03_laboratory.hpm intro sequence from the base game is still implemented and needs to be removed (will be fixed in next update).
-The terminals do not work. They we're intended too but something is broken and will not allow me to implement them properly.
-The robothead ("Matilda") monster in Map 3 will occasionally get stuck on static props and will not approach the door. Because of this Matilda will not activate the trigger area that causes her to despawn when out of sight and therefore will trap the player in the entrance hallway.
-The airlock particle systems in the Map 1/Map 2 crossover are not properly implemented (will be fixed in next update).
If you find any other issues that I am not aware of please let me know. I will only occasionally check the Steam or ModDB comments and/or reviews, so the best place to reach me ideally would be the Frictional Games' Official Discord server. My name on discord is @artificialparanoia and my server nickname is usually @m night shyamalan of modding or @m night shyamalan of writing.
Thank you all for your support and well wishes, and I hope you enjoy what little I have.
