Why my game always crash wherever I open decision tab and choose organize colonies decision? However, the game play well and nice except I cant let my cursor touch the organize colonies decision or it will make the game crash to the desktop.
I removed some states in africa so maybe that's why; I will try to band aid it on dev version by removing those decisions, if I ever return to the mod I will try to make better system for it.
I'm not veteran or expert player in this game. But if i can suggest something, maybe creating about series of colonial event will be feel more organic or natural rather than using only decision. Because even I can't tell much different about having direct control colonies or using orginize colonies decision which as far I know will create a puppet state.
Since I alredy said, i'm not a veteran or expert in this game. I more exicited if there some kind like series of event. Just like the liberal agitation event but special for colonies. Maybe something like what to do with development in colonies, and player can choose to direct investing it or couraging invesment from upper class which later can be evolve to issue around exploitation and create new event which player must choose how to control a new emerging problem. If player choose to soft way and creating negotiation, the outcome can be good or bad and of course player can use hard way to keep maximum profit. Then another event can be trigger if too much exploitation, maybe something like anti-colonial activist movement appear on mainland which demand on lessen exploitation and latter can increase an independent movement on colonies.
My point of suggestion is around an idea about several way an organize colonies can be done. Not only in decision but also an event so the player can feel reprecussion to it's action. Because i feel lack of content in colonies things. It's a bit too easy for me when using Portugal to take some african land. Even it is rarely an uprising will appear, which is good thing but it's feels bland. Only occasionaly an event about exploitation appear but the negative effect is a bit lacking in my views.

During the game, I wanted to go to the menu and the game crashed. All the progress and decades of the game are devalued. Here's what to do in such a situation?
Could you clarify what exactly happened, because I am not exactly sure what you mean.
I apologize for my English if it is not clear to you. I'll describe it in more detail. I played mod for Prussia, decided to stay during the conference of the German principalities, and continued to play. I overestimated my strength and did not see the consequences of the decisions, decided to go to the game menu, and the game was thrown out. After that, he re-entered the game and throws out all the saves.
Ok, thanks, that's much more clear; I have been dealing with such save-crashes for quite some time but I thought that I was able to fix them, and they didn't happen to me at usual dates when I tested the game, but apparently it still sometimes happens? Unfortunately I am not sure if I will be able to fix that if it indeed is a thing, due to lack of time and will at the moment, as well as general cluelessness regarding the issue.
I know it is painfull to loose your save, but the only thing I can suggest is starting over from the beggining, making sure that you installed the latest version (I would reccomend downloading development version that I linked in the discription on "summary" page).
Cheers and I am truly sory for those crashes, but I am not sure why they happen, in a meantime I decided to give the game a one more small shot (I am slowly playing as Spain when I find time) and I will see if it will happen to me as well.

Hi, I'm downloading your mod from the latest commit from your Github repository, what is the "zzz_backups" folder for, does it serve any function or is it safe to delete and will not affect the main folder?
