The final version of my procedural racing game project Circular. Polished and tweaked, it now plays like a game. Although fairly shallow in content, the game works well as a score attack.
The player starts out as a cool lump of coal, sliding along the ground. Stay airbourne to avoid the friction of the ground, and gain rotating momentum. Slimming in reduces your friction and lets you speed over the terrain quicker.
Along the path you'll find fiery hoops, that heats you up and adds to your score. Gather enough, and you'll soon be soaring through the sky as a fireball. - But be quick about it, or you'll cool and fizzle.
Use the keyboard arrows or plug in your favorite XInput compatible controller to steer.
Use return on the keyboard or start on the controller to start the game and to return to the menu.
Use escape to close the game.
