Ace Shadowrunners and blood brothers, Michael and Stark are quickly gaining a reputation as a team that gets the job done. What should have been a simple package retrieval, has the duo caught in a race against time with a ruthless megacorp, an ancient evil, and a redhaired adept, with the very existence of humanity at stake.
Brothers to the end is a prequel to the Sega Genesis version of Shadowrun, as well as a sequel to the SNES shadowrun, my two favorite video games growing up. It is my attempt to bridge the two games together, as well as tell a unique Shadowrun story. The game is a love letter to those games and those fond memories I had as a GM on Friday nights with my friends.
This game is not just a love letter to Shadowrun, but also to 1980’s action movies, complete with cheesy one liners. Let me apologize in advance for the bad grammar.
I tried to make the game a legitimate Shadowrun experience, so expect to run into a lot of characters and situations straight out of existing (for 2nd edition) canon.
The game is not an RPG, but rather a linear action-adventure game. Despite being linear, I designed it to be explored, so there are a ton of Easter Eggs hidden in it, as well as multiple endings.
Search everywhere, you never know what you'll find or who you'll run into. There is also no manual upgrading, instead the characters level up and gain new skills as they go.
I started working on this in 2013 on Shadowrun Returns, and after 8 long years, it's finally complete. I hope you guys have as much fun playing it as I did making it.
