I'm playing one called Mad Father which is pretty good so far.

Yeah, I played that one already. This comment was back in January!!! XD I've played many MANY more RPG games than just them. :P Yeah, Mad Father's pretty good. But in my opinion Ib is the best RPG game ever, The Witch's House is also very close.

One tip: these all have multiple endings. To see all of them and not have to play the game over and over, look up the ending "branch" checkpoints and save a different file at each one. (For example, if I'm about to do something that will change the ending, I save two files, so I can go back and play through the other option.)

Ascension (there are like gazillions of games called this.
