i have a question about the lever puzzle, i found 1 and 2 and i also pulled off the small painting and heard some metal gears click but nothing happened. I've been searching for a long time and can't figure out the problem, maybe a bug or i'm missing something?
I will try to help you as much as I can. There is the room where the buffy walks along. Go to that room after the 2nd lever. There is a door and walk through it. You will see a church door and open it. The small lever is in the work desk.
Looks like a decent start. What i recommend you do is avoid using a white background, you can see it through some missing polygons in the walls. Also before changing it to black, look for misplaced walls and overlapping textures, i saw a few (i remember before entering the cellar for example). Good luck for the final release, keep going :)
PS: i see you're using my converted rebirth lantern for the full conversion, glad you could find a use for it :D
I'm glad you enjoyed the demo. I honestly don't know what you mean by white background, are you referring to the skybox.
I also enjoy the rebirth lantern.
yeah the skybox was missing for me then i think. that's why it was a white background.
I forgot to put the texture file in the demo but I released a patch.
Okay after spending a bit more time on it i can give some advice. You generally seem to be capable of designing large areas, however the locations feel a bit empty, boring and just nothing that resembles real life locations. The latest is the most important point, not like you didn't make some nice rooms but they feel weird and out of place. Some windows are also not lit up at all and some rooms are unnecessarily dark because of that. Currently also nothing happens in the maps at all save for a few monster encounters and this doesn't help making any of the areas interesting. Put puzzles, events, obstacles or just something to remember some of the locations by. Progression seems very linear too right now, and what story there was is completely disconnected from the gameplay. Not a bad start but you need to improve upon several points to make this good in the end, which i think you have a good chance for :)

Can you also point out the maps that have the problem.
i mean most of them to some degree, the windows are mostly dark in mansion maps, and many of the rooms feel weird or pointless in general mostly early on, but with a little bit of spicing up (with something interesting or to do) can help all of them easily. but i like the amfp vibes, it's a good foundation for the mod to build upon.
