Age of Heresy takes the PoP 3.9.1 troop trees and adds one thing and one thing only to them: the ability to train minor faction troops from kingdom units. This makes it easier for the player to roleplay as a former heretic battling the cult of Erida Occisor, or a Mystmountain Hero sent to rescue Pendor.
Additions: Aside from adding the minor faction lines, this mod adds two new troops to augment these lines. The Vanskerry Recruit (a renamed Fierdsvain Trained Militia) and the Rattlesnake Soldier (stronger, dismounted Cobra Warriors).
Issues: Kingdoms will start with minor faction units. One can easily dismiss these as traitors to the minor factions though. I did try to prevent this from happening by assigning the units to different factions though, so maybe they won't be able to train these units.
Elite troops are likely unable to be trained.
Going into Report->Troop Trees may crash the game.
I experienced some segmentation faults in my testing, but this may be due to alt-tabbing.
Installation: Unzip the folder, then drag troops.txt to your Prophesy of Pendor 3.9 folder. Install after the 3.9.1 patch.
Planned features: I might expand upon this for a full-scale troop tree expansion in the future. This was just a quick, minor and amateur hack I made with Morgh's that I thought would add to the gameplay, if only slightly.

Is this save game compatible?
I would think so, as it doesn't change anything in regards to items or stats. As of posting this though, I'm nearing the completion of a full-fledged submod. So stay tuned.
Not a supported or endorsed sub mod of Prophesy of Pendor.
How would one make an endorsed sub mod?
