is this like age of empires?
Age of Empires is one of the inspirations for the game indeed, though there are ideas from other games and some unique ones as well.
Is it still unplayable/very laggy if you get a big army?
I can´t find a video on youtube of anyone playing it in english in mp or with a big army. Anyone know please do tell :)
It´s a bit tiring to find out everytime you get the new versiono of this truly ambitous project and find out that it still is so laggy after a while.

Hey guys, great game so far. I love everything from the diversity to the simple game mechanics.
I was wondering when we would expect to see drastic performance fixes as currently the game starts dropping to 10fps after the AI sends in their 2nd army and a lot of units are on the screen. It's quite disappointing that my fun is halted by the extremely low fps and it often forces me to just quit the current game.

Performance fixes will be added all through the development, some big, some small. In Alpha 19 (out now btw) there is a new pathfinder which should improve things a fair amount, but on the other hand that also needs to be improved, so it's not a quick fix.

I cannot install this game on my computer, for it has a "Windows 64 bit Operating System"! Why don't you create a 64 bit version, please? Or there is already this version and I am not seen it?
You can install 32-bit applications on a 64-bit system, so there is no need for a 64-bit version.

you need to install the alpha version before the 18 ?, 20 ?, alpha or alpha 20, brings the same and more?
