It has come to my attention that the game Beasts of Bermuda, has obtained a staff team which lacks the quality of effective due diligence, thorough investigative skills, analysis, and systematic evaluation. There seems to be some favoritism and/or corruption in the small team with them “turning a blind eye” when provided information regarding reports of harassment towards a minor within the community. It seems that they have claimed to investigate the situation and have reached a resolution resulting in providing “suitable punishment” for all offending parties. I have attempted to find out what “suitable punishment” the parties have received but unfortunately, from what I have gathered, that statement was, what looks to be, false, wrongfully one sided, and has potential to be misconstrued. I have come to find that Beasts of Bermuda officials had the victim’s server shut down and the accused harasser put in a higher position to represent Beasts of Bermuda. At that point higher authority staff, such as the Lead Developer for Beasts of Bermuda, began recommending other members within the victims server to join another server. While reaching out to gather more information on the situation, I was met with the refusal to provide ANY information regarding the reasoning for a heavily one sided decision. With the lack of discovery, proof, or evidence being provided, leads me to believe that Beasts of Bermuda staff and officials are not only hiding information, but also condoning acts of harassment towards minors by allowing the accused harasser to represent Beasts of Bermuda, receive additional support, and continue running a Beasts of Bermuda community server. This matter can ultimately affect the overall gameplay and mechanics due to the lack of investigative qualities. This ties into how the official staff handles situations within the game community which could potentially severely drop the number of players, making this review relevant and within Steams Guidelines for Reviews. It is still unclear as to what the intentions and motives are for this situation, however, this can be systematically damaging to the growth of the Beasts of Bermuda. The lack of due diligence and investigative skills, will lead to the downfall of Beast of Bermuda’s popularity if not corrected. While trying to connect with supporters, users, and customers, it is best to learn those traits and drastically improve on the skill. Otherwise, any situation that arises will not have a solid outcome, but instead turn into another, "turning a blind eye" situation.
