quasiStudio is a small, independent game studio founded by two tech guys who love games so much, and they couldn't help themselves but turn it into a full-time career. The goal is to create memorable digital experiences and have fun along the way. Primary areas of work are mobile games for iOS and Android, but the quasi-team also knows its way around UI/UX, web and mobile app development. At the beginning of 2019, the long-awaited space shooter game Aero Attack was released on iOS and Android, and the studio is currently working on their second game.

Description

quasiStudio was founded at the end of 2018 in Zagreb, Croatia, after co-founders Kresimir Tavas and Renato Stanic realized they both shared similar game design values and decided to dedicate their careers to game development full-time. While the studio was in its beginning stage, Kresimir and Renato worked from the comfort on their homes and needed a name under which they will publish the first game they worked on. They couldn't be called a studio at that point, so they figured they're a quasi-studio anyways, which is how the business got its name.

Kresimir Tavas
Co-Founder and Artist

Since he was 12, Kresimir has considered himself a UI/UX designer and front-end developer, which is when he has created his first website. He works on the design of quasiStudio's games, websites, social media content, and marketing. Some of his latest projects are as the lead designer for TEDxZagreb's 2018 event, as the ICO lead for a Canadian CSR platform called Pixhug, and as the lead designer for the Cryptoversal platform. When he is not working, he's usually with his Jack Russell Terrier Pablo, who loves to run much more than he does. He also likes movies, boxing, cooking, and snowboarding.

Renato Stanic
Co-Founder and Developer

Renato is a developer with over 5 years of official experience, whose most recent work is the Android app for Croatia's largest classified ad website called Njuskalo. He worked on it for more than 3 years during his employment at Undabot, one of Croatia's most prominent mobile development companies. His latest success is developing a photo recognition feature that recognizes objects on the photos, where AI analyzes the photo and matches them with their belonging categories. If the AI has chosen the wrong category, the user can easily improve the AI by presenting the correct category while making the AI better and smarter.
