Last week we publicly announced Pixel Sword to the world and gathered a great amount of interest from the local games development community in Scotland and further afield. We even got a profile about the company on the Scottish Games Network. If you haven’t seen it yet check it out by following this link: scottishgames.net/2013/10/11/company-profile-pixel-sword/
Tomorrow we will be doing a news run of Pixel Raiders detailing what’s been done so far and we will be looking at what we will be doing to get the game ready for its HTML5 web release in December. You can also check out some of the new development pictures by heading over to the profile at: www.indiedb.com/games/pixel-raiders
This week we will be getting the Squaring profile on our website and on Slide DB. For those that don’t know, Squaring is an experimental game that’s looking at how to navigate the player through the game using only basic shapes and colours. The result will give an insight into how to develop a menu and tutorial system that will reduce the cost of localisation. You will be able to find out more this Thursday at www.pixelsword.net.
Also, if you haven’t already check out the web site at www.Pixelsword.net and follow us on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/PixelSword. You can also get the latest development shenanigans on twitter @MiNTO56.
