Pirate Beats Ninja is an indie studio working on Dying Ember: an action RPG that takes cues from games like Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, Shadow of the Colossus, Metroid and Castlevania (although it is decidedly not a Metroidvania title). You play in a world where two universes have collided many years ago, and war and famine are everywhere. Combat is slow, methodical, strategic, and requires timing and stamina management.
