Right now i am looking for a creative writer that will help me write the story of the horror game we are going to develop. Also just to point out I am a professional, have worked for two big companies, but I just cant work for someone, and from almost 3 years I am in the indie industry. So my point is that we may be indie but the expected project is big and will be developed in a high quality.
Still there is no team by the way.
That's why I was looking for writers, so we can write the story and then get the team, that's a very important thing I have learnt - When you are a starter the best thing to do is to first have the story and the GDD written. But don't worry, I have already selected some people, just not contacted them to not make them wait. This was the Junior concept artist of my previous team - Artstation.com. He was only junior, and still has a lot of potential, this time the team I am getting is even stronger. Just wanted to give you some kind of reference of the quallity
The game will be a 3D, first person, with high quality graphics (Take a reference with Outlast 2).
Genre: horror-survival, adventure, action (the game will involve a lot of thinking so it should have sort of puzzles to solve)
We are aiming for 5+ hours of gameplay.
The game will have sequels (maybe prequels)
The game will have horror aspects like in Outlast 2, or Resident Evil 7 (What i mean is the atmosphere)
So the idea here is to deliver a true horror experience to the player.
As well as an emotional one.
What i mean is that the player should remember this game and not be able to wait for the sequel that will come.
We are aiming for a franchise
The position isn't paid, but the project is really serious - the share revenue plan on this game is pretty huge - we will make a kickstarter, plus join patreon, plus participate in Unreal Dev Grants (which is 5,000$ - 50,000$) + donations from fans (the project is big).
We will be developing the game in Unreal Engine 4.
Also just to mention since the team is pretty new we still don't have a name for it. And the name of the company is in some aspects one of the selling points. So if you could also help me get a name it would be really appreciated.
