Mad Otter was founded in 2007. We are dedicated to making great games. We believe in getting our games live and into the hands of the players as early as possible. Good gameplay is achieved by lots of playtesting and listening to the community. It’s the players that bring the game to life. We chose our name when we saw a video of a tribe of otters chasing away a huge crocodile from the local watering hole. We thought this was a nice metaphor for the indie insurgence. Crocodiles are big, cold-blooded, and based on a prehistoric design. Otters are adaptive, quick, and most importantly warm-blooded.
