Hey everyone,

My name is Eric and I am the project coordinator/Producer, PR Lead, and Lead writer of the released Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars modification Tiberium Secrets. As an established team that has been in development since 6/2011, we're technically classified as a mod, however, our content, documentation, connections and accomplishments go above and beyond conventional modding.

We consist of both hobbyists and individuals striving to get into the games and entertainment industries, which has resulted in us networking with several of the original developers and executives who've been involved in the original franchise, as well as others in the Industry. We also obtained 2 sponsored passes for the Game Developers Conference (GDC 2017), valued at ~2K each, for leadership.

We're looking for dedicated individuals interested and able to continue our journey, and help build a new company, from the ground up.

Open positions:

We are trying to keep up a friendly and family-like atmosphere in the team. That is why one of our most important requirements for all of the below positions is to have a friendly and open minded attitude towards your work and also the other team members. We are trying to produce at a high quality level and want all of our members to work as efficient and well-organized as they can. All the work you are going to do for us will receive the credit it deserves. Since this is an online project, you are going to need a microphone for communication via Skype.

Associate Producer

As one of the Associate Producers you will be responsible for assisting in the facilitation of all team communications, insuring all team members have the assets and information needed to complete their respective tasks. This role will be interacting with all levels within the organization, and in some instances high levels outside it. This person will also be responsible for learning and managing our onboarding process from posting Ads to reviewing Resumes, to setting up and coordinating interviews with the relevant department leaders. This person also must be able and willing to step up and fill any administrative gaps, and work to plug them proactively. This is a massive job, and will likely need to be split up across multiple roles. (Your job in short will be to handle things That need doing, that no one else wants or knows how to do. You will either need to do it yourself ,or find recruit people to do it.)

We are looking for promising candidates of management to train into leadership. These individuals will also be key to building, maintaining, and expanding our existing organization, and will need to be able to help co-manage and build a new company from the ground up.

There are countless aspects of what a producer does, which include a thorough understanding of, or commitment to quickly learn about:

  • management, leadership, coordination
  • Public Relations
  • Human Resources
  • documentation and creative writing
  • psychology and human motivation
  • I will be looking to train an individual to take on core aspects of my jobs, which I’ve held exclusively for 7 years. (I currently singlehandedly lead production, PR, HR, and recently delegated writing to our head of narrative, yet was the lead writer for 6 years.

    Furthermore, the applicant will be interviewed by all active department leaders, and the vote must be unanimous. In a word, a producer is a “conduit”, they are responsible for maintaining, managing, building, and facilitating core communications of a project. They will need to be able to communicate with all kinds of people from all levels, motivating and inspiring them to do their best work. They are expected to be key points of communication, always examining the system for process improvements that help the work get done harder, better, faster, stronger.

    You are:

    While there are no monetary rewards, these positions give the great chance to not only gain experience in your fields, but to also work together with highly motivated individuals in a team. It is required to give and take constructive criticism and simply push the designs to the limits to give the player the best gaming experience possible. In addition, we are focussing on creating high quality in all points of design, which means that you'll get great video material to publish on your blogs/websites to showcase your work. You can expect a solid foundation and work done in every area of development, since the project has been in development for a many of years already. The team leader takes documentation and planning very seriously. Furthermore, strategies for future content publishments are already made. The team leader , and or your department leader may write or give you a reference for future work-relationships.

    Required time:

    This position requires a minimum of roughly 15-20 hours per week (core management). The amount of time you have to put into this project is highly depending on how efficient you work. It makes sense that you will need less time, if you produce high quality at any point, so the given times are just a rough estimate. It is very important that you can react to e-mails and inquiries via smart phone or any other devices, though. We also have regular team meetings, which we highly recommend attending to.

    We use our Google Drive, Trello, Skype and e-mail for the exchange of data and information. Further information can be given upon request.
