The M.U.G.E.N fighting engine developer. Elecbyte was established in 1998 as a small games development studio, with the intent to create products to drive community-driven games content production. The result a year later was M.U.G.E.N, a flexible 2D fighting game engine that now serves as a platform for thousands of user-contributed add-ons to come together. Today it's a group recently reformed from a couple of Elecbyte founders and former core developers. Thanks to M.U.G.E.N's ever growing fan base, they're inspired to commit to full-time development. Elecbyte plan to continue development of the platforms and tools that enable it's fans and aspiring game developers to rapidly assemble and showcase their creations worldwide.
