We are looking for a passionate and experienced 3D artist that will help us to elevate our latest project, The Universim, to new heights. You will be responsible for creating some of the in-game artwork, ranging from characters and creatures to architectural and environmental assets. You will play an important role in crafting a memorable visual journey for our players.
## Responsibilities
Modelling and texturing in-game characters and props based on concepts, 3D mock-ups, and art direction specifications
Coordinate closely with the design team and Technical Art Director in the implementation process
Implementing assets into the game engine
Defining shader effects and material properties
Working under the supervision of the 3D Art Director
Requirements
Professional experience as a 3D artist in the games industry
Proficient in at least one 3D modeling program (3ds Max, Maya, Modo, etc) and in at least one 3D sculpting program (Zbrush, Mudbox, 3d-coat, etc.)
Excellent knowledge of Photoshop
Experience in both modelling and texturing, particularly in a stylized format
Able to optimize low-polygon models while taking aesthetic and technical considerations into account
Strong knowledge of art and technical standards/constraints for modern games
Ability to work with or without concept art
Creativity and ability to adapt to current modeling/texturing styles
Excellent English skills
Be a great team player
