The studio, founded in early 2014, was put together by Davey Henry. Davey, a gamer since the NES days, has always had a fascination with puzzle games, RPGs, adventure, and all around exploration based games that reward curiosity and encourage creativity. After developing a fascination with language Davey initially wanted to create an education game that could help emulate an immersive language experience. This led him to design a game in which you can interact with everything and be given language feedback to everything you do. After a similar game came out that was neither rewarding nor even that helpful, Davey wanted to take those mechanics but do much more on really building the story. The result is Closer. A game that keeps language and language barriers as a primary challenge within the game while telling a tale to pique your curiosity and encourage you press on.
