I put all the files, including one of the hand models and when I clicked the bat file it flashes quickly but without executing. even when starting the game with the launcher it crash. Can you help me, bro? I have the game on Steam
That means it's not in the right place. The rebirth_lantern_mod must be in your root amnesia folder, something like steamapps/common/Amnesia the Dark Descent. And you need to place one of the hand models inside that folder. If the bat file is in Amnesia the Dark Descent/rebirth_lantern_mod, than it should work. Try both bat files if one fails to launch!

I've got a question, can you use this for custom story making? At least for the lantern and oil. If so, then how would I install it?
MAKING a custom story with it is not possible, you need to make it a full conversion mod. If you just want to PLAY custom stories with it, you install as it's mentioned in the instructions, it supports both the main game and custom stories.
I figured out how to use it in custom stories(kinda). And I also got the french/herbert oil to work
Also is there a way to switch the small and large oil with the herbert and french oil?
Sure, replace the entities potion_oil and potion_oil_large with the provided entities for those in a full conversion mod. You can see the example in my download, i did that with the alchemist oil :)

I love the lantern and the oil bottles, both. They're wonderful, and a great addition to my personally modded Amnesia.
I'm debating on whether or not this is my favorite lantern. It's fighting against Amadeus' lantern, it may even be too hard to choose. I've been switching between the two occasionally, after a few custom stories.
