Su-27UB Falcons of Russia
Falcons of Russia, are less famous than Russian Knights, but nonetheless awesome aerobatic group founded in 2006 in Lipetsk with the purpose of demonstration of capabilities of Russian military jets.
A paintjob that belongs to Su-27P, of 689th GvIAP. It's nicknamed "Kopeyka" (after the smallest nominal coin - 1 kopeck) due to the number 01.
MiG-29UB Estovakia (Strangereal untold stories request by laZardo)
Pilot: Nemanja "Zmaj" Dragovic. Estovakia Air Force.
After losing his family and house during the Erusean War, Dragovic moved back to the country of his family's heritage as a teenager. With no other option, Dragovic enrolled in the Estovakian military academy and transferred to the air force where he became certified on the MiG-29. His callsign "Zmaj" derives partially from his ability to rapidly adapt a seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of battle tactics, but mainly from surviving his ragged aircraft catching fire on a number of occasions similar to the namesake dragon.
When the Civil War erupted into full scale in 2011, he remained in the Eastern Faction where his combat prowess earned him an invitation to become a test pilot for Naval Aviation. Under the tutelage of Lorenz Riedel, a Belkan expatriate consultant to the Eastern Faction, he and a number of pilots helped test the landing and launch mechanisms for the Aigaion before the Strigon Team made their residence. He also flew air superiority missions against various factions.
During the war against Emmeria, Dragovic flew on the northern flank of the assault to take the key city of Mante, a battle of high tactical significance but little propaganda value compared to Gracemeria. Following the end of the war, Dragovic was rendered by the Emmerian SIS and implicated for war crimes involving a massacre of Emmerian civilians that took place in the Windsor Hotel in downtown Gracemeria. Among the bodies found were that of the family of a famous fighter pilot.
However, no charges were ultimately filed and Dragovic currently lives in quiet retirement.
Also, it's my first attempt at weathered skin.
A fictional scheme designed by yours truly for a MiG-29UB scale model. It was somewhat inspired by Frank Herbert's book "Dune" (Atreides banner depicted as being black and green in color). The decor elements are actual decals of the model kit by Zvezda.
