Description
For those minecraft gamers who like to start off with a bit more security, and for those diehards who cant wait to fire arrows from atop the lava walls. This is a 'starting' house, a castle that is virtually invincible to the mobs around you. Though do beware of fire, as the inside is largely made of wood. Build and improve upon the castle, featuring 5 block thick walls, a wooden house with an attic, a workshop, and 4 towers ever-scanning the horizon. Construct a majestic basement using the 9000 block foundation underneath the castle, and utilize the lush environment to thrive amidst creepers.... Installation: download- extract save files run p;pdata% and open minecraft.saves- add file to saves- run minecraft, enjoy ;)

Yeah I do, too, as you can see ;) this is mainly for those who just want to have a decent 'jumping off' point in the game. I am working on an even better one that will be featuring a patriotic theme. Haven't decided yet on whether to make the twin towers or a battle scene. Right now I'm thinking to have it relate to June 6th, 1944.

This looks like the fortress my brother built. Except it's bigger, has a random tower that is massive in the middle up to the top of the map with water pouring from the edges of said tower so Mobs "can't get through"
Hmm... Interesting. I might just burn down the inside and revise the save to make it more of a castle type. I don't exactly know what should go inside, but as I will also be adding a massive wall (almost done) feel free to post ideas. I'm also thinking of turning the surrounding forest into a town.
Use smooth stone rocks look ugly.

Almost done with the great wall... let me know how else I can make the map better or just tell me about some super exotic temple or castle that won't take up the whole map (go golden pyramid guy) but still looks awesome. Btw the reason for so mush annoying posting from me is cause I need feedback so I can revise the save for its final release. From now on i will confine the ranting to my blog ;)

When you want to make a ss in minecraft press f2 and then f1. And use cartographer as well. Minecraftforum.net
