A Christmas KF2inspired themed map based in Santa’s House.
Story:
After surviving Sant’s evil lair, our survivors find themselves once again stranded at the North Pole. Finally, after days of driving, they manage to find shelter hidden within an unusual forest area. Little did they know this would soon turn to be the beginning of their worst nightmare…

I didn't find any bug, the map looks good. At first the underground area was weird for me, because it hadn't matched to the upstairs design.
I still think they don't match to each other, but it's fine for me now.

My idea for the map was first to give the illusion to the player that they are entering a happy santa workshop with a whole bunch of Christmas decoration.
However as the player explores more of the area, they find out that this isn't any ordinary workshop. Hence the reason why downstairs is more of a biotic lab were gruesome experiments are held.
I am thinking that perhaps I could close off those two corridors entrance doors and if the player were to find some sort of switch or key, then the secret basement doors will unlock.

I really like the map. The theme is great, I do enjoy the snowy maps (like Outpost) and the Christmas/Santa theme is unique and interesting. I played it with a mate quite hard and found the design of the map good, although at times the zeds would spawn all at once (too fast) so the pacing should be slowed a bit. Also was hoping the downstairs/underground area would be a bit more gruesome (think Volter Manor). Perhaps more of a torture chamber as opposed to a Horzine lab would be great. But overall, fantastic job!
Hey Tunnel thanks for the feedback! I will definitely look into making adjustments to the zeds spawn, and perhaps in the future make the biotic area a bit more gruesome.
In fact my original idea for the biotic lab area, was to include some close test chambers were the player could encounter all of the original Xmas zeds, and add a couple of dead scientist bodies everywhere (hanged, splice in half and etc..). However as I am still new to KF2 SDK and UDK in general, I knew that this would require quite a large amount of time and so I wouldn't be able to publish the map before the grindhouse Phase 2 deadline.
Nonetheless it is still a feature I might consider in the future.

Version 2 is live featuring more content for the underground biotic lab and general gameplay improvements. One of the biggest changes is that more Christmas decorations has been added in the biotic lab section of the map, giving a more overall Christmas look & feel throughout the entire map.
Please not that due to the new amount of objects added in the biotic lab area, the map size has slightly increased. That is all and I have you all enjoy it as much I did on creating it!
Version 3 is live featuring better compatibility between the steam workshop and non-workshop versions. A large amount of changes have been made to the map changing the usual gameplay experience. The two doors that lead to the biotic lab have been closed off, now it is up to the player to search for a hidden switch somewhere inside the workshop.
Switch Location: Switch is located near the pool table, simply look at the monitor and press the E button to activate it.
