So basically instead of a baby crying in the room you will hear 2 people having errrr....performing the uhhh...........basically they're busy doing something, don't worry about it. Why does this mod exist? Well, on the 30th of March, 2019 I made a stupid video titled "Cry of Fear meme". Recently some dude called "connorxd" commented on that video "Someone turn this masterpiece into a fucking mod.". Here it is then.

hey so i noticed you just took the audio, made sure it was a wav file, and then renamed it to the same file name and then replaced it for it to work. I've been trying to make my own custom sounds, and simply making the audio file type (that being .wav) and making the file name the same, didnt cut it, and it would just play no sound in-game, and i even tried making the file size and bit rate match the original sound file and still it makes no sound in-game, can you please give me insight onto how you successfully made this and did it seemingly so easily, thank you so much in advance
Hey, sorry for the late reply lmao. Maybe you've already figured it out but some sounds are in stereo and some are in mono. So you have to make sure that your custom sound matches the original in that compartment.
I think GoldSrc uses mono sounds by default but somehow CoF uses stereo playback for specific .waw file names which are prescribed in the game's code.
