Graphics - reasonable. Storyline - unknown didn't get far enough to judge, its also an FPS game so expect it to be minimal at best. Controls - VERY sensetive, had to reduce mouse sensitivity out of game to make it playable. Audio - Voice acting was OK, repetative music got annoying, but the game was too quite without it, other sounds ok.
This game would have scored higher than the 2, if not for 1 thing. It kept on failing missions DURING CUTSCENES. Gave up playing it.

The text game format provides with the possibility of a much more developed story and interaction with it. In this game you can CLEARLY see which option is the wrong one, therefor it's pretty much a linear game... Really? A linear text game? Why not call it a book?
The developer should look into other text games like "Lusternia, Age of Ascension" or "Aetolia, the Midnight Age" and take some ideas of interactive play, there's barely none of it in this game.
And finally, the writting is bad, the jokes are not funny.
I give it a 2/10 because I like the idea of a post-apocaliptic survival text game, and I hope someone do this better.

I've bought the game when it was in alpha stage.
Notch isn't a good person...

RADical Roach is, to put it frankly, a very bad game. What seems like a funny concept quickly falls apart do to repetitive design, innacurate controls (does not support gamepad either), and the poor choice of not including any sort of story system for the main story.
This causes the game to quickly start to feel pointless, and it became a grind almost as soon as I started. The environments don't do anything to help in this regard, repeating the same 10 second loop over the course of the games levels. Animations are jerky and could have used a lot more polish, and feel very weird mixed with in with the main character, who actually manages to look halfway decent despite being very simply drawn. Enemies are cut and paste, with little to no pattern to learn or interesting weapons or moves, which has long been on of the things schmups rely on most to keep things fresh and interesting.
It is all just very very dull, and I have a hard time finding anything good to say about it. The cartoony artstyle is the only thing that could pass as almost decent, but it's nowhere near enough to counter all the horrible designs choices that RADical Roach makes. I couldn't make myself finish it, and feel thankful that it was only free extra in an indie bundle. Even for free I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and at a whopping $10 I feel sorry for anyone who might have purchased this game. I hate to say so many bad things about a game, but RADical Roach is easily one of the worst games I've played in years.

rooms are way too empty, there are many missing walls and glitches, and you need to learn how to use billboard properly!

i comandi sono difficili, il single player non esiste e manca un po di animazione...
può diventare un buon passatempo, se correggi un paio di cose

This game is a joke. It's like the developers saw that blocks were the new popular thing now, and tried to make a Call of Duty clone based off of that.
The gameplay couldn't get any more generic. It's got everything you'd expect in a game attempting to imitate CoD: iron sights, regenerating health, restrictive weapon limit. You can carry 2 guns (or 1 gun and 1 accessory item), 2 explosives (or 1 explosive and 1 medkit), a melee weapon and then 3 perk items. The world is made of destructible blocks, although blocks don't have any physics, they'll float in the air even with nothing attaching it to the ground. You can build structures, either by placing blocks one at a time or by building an entire pre-built structure at once, but you can also dig through blocks instantly at a rather fast pace and at a distant of about 10 blocks away rendering any sort of building pointless.
The UI is the worst part of it all. It covers a large portion of your screen, with your gun blocking way more of your view than it should. Going into fullscreen doesn't help as it only scales up the UI.
Graphics look like a poorly made Minecraft texture pack, there's no real overall art direction, and the character skins are ugly to look at.
The community, while not a direct fault of the developers, is also terrible. Nothing but kids cursing at each other constantly.
Not everything is terrible. There's a large number of maps to choose from, with a few of them being pretty cool, the Blocktron maps in particular. They have that Tron aesthetic of bright blue lines stretching over a black surface, which is far better than the generic Minecraft texture pack aesthetic of the other maps. I'd enjoy playing in these maps if the gameplay wasn't so dull.
Even if none of the default maps appeal to you, there's a map editor that you can make your own maps to play in. This is basically what the browser version of Minecraft was, placing and removing blocks, but there's potential to create some decent maps.

Controls on this game suck, and you are instantly swarmed as soon as you enter any zone, often times you enter a zone and either be unable to fire opn your opponents or wont be able to stop firing.

Generic idea, awful physics, audiovisuals.. No comment. The game scaries away player from the first moments with super-ugly look and feel.

I can't really recommend this to anyone...
I will describe my gameplay in short:
- A random guy appears
- I can't understand what he is saying
- I found a key
- The first jumpscare appeared
- Random jumpscare again
- Found another key
- Found money I won't need for anything
- First monster encounter
- Flying naked guy
- Another key
- Jumpscare
- Found an axe, destroyed a few doors and it suddenly disapeared
- Found a magic crowbar that could destroy a door by blowing it up
- Found a key
- Jump scare
- Found a needle
- Jump scare
- Jump scare
- Jump scare
- Found a magic saw that could unlock the next door like a regular key
- Second monster encounter
- Jump scare
- Jump scare
- The random guy appears again and said something I don't understand
- The end
If you love stories with a language you don't understand, love key quests, love jumpscares and love unrelistic stories that doesn't make any sense in a wierd, unintresting world, this is the right one for you :D
To the author - you need to work more on this... alot more. The only 2 positive things I can say about it are the custom materials and a few intresting areas. But that's it. Jumpscares are not even scary more than once...
My suggestions to you is to create a stronger story line IN ENGLISH and spend more time on the maps.
And please, stop making those lame jumpscares and lame events, it's not impressive in any ways :s
2/10 - Really bad

Normally i would not even rate this 0.00001
But... there aren't any more cs out here lately!

Day one DLC, most likely are loaded in the game but most be bought to be unlocked. No real AI skirmish mode, dull campaign.
Multiplayer is fun when it isn't lagging.
Mod Review by shorun on Apr 29th, 2013
Overly ambitious without finishing it off, script errors, missing strings, mayor spelling mistakes and the map lag makes it virtually unplayable...
Finish faction A before adding faction B and fix the bugs...

Can't get the game to run properly. If I can't run this on Windows 7, with a i5 2500k, a Nvidia GT 560 GT (up to date firmware), and 12 gigs of Ram, then something is horribly wrong.
No matter what I mess around with, the game screen looks like an old TV set that's on a channel full of snow. Rendering the game totally unplayable.
Game Review by MrHanMan on Apr 28th, 2013
Wow. This game is bad. The soundtrack is cheesy. The voice acting is ridiculous and embarassing. I actually felt bad for the people forced to read these lines in broken English. The briefing screens begin and end with your mouse moving the map at one million miles and hour in a useless direction. The mission starts with no warning, and the previously mentioned voice acting does little to indicate what you are supposed to do. Not that it matters much. The missions themselves require little to no skill. The only thing required is the patience to wait for a missle lock and to fire. No need to worry about running out. All the planes seem to be equiped with Bags of Holding stuffed with clusters of heat seeking missles. There are no config options at all in the GUI. Full screen is enabled by hitting Alt-Enter. Maybe there are more options in an ini file somewhere, but the game is too terrible to bother looking for them. It gets two points instead of one only out of pity. Luckily, this was a bonus in a bundle I had already purchased. I would have been really angry had I paid actual money for this crap.
