Lack of monsters and it also has a maze area but if that isn't bad enough when i went to the maze area i didn't save because i didn't want to have to reload the game and i did the maze and a monster chased me and i got stuck inside a wall with no way to die leaving the only option to start WAY back in the game
the wall that i got stuck in i just walked into it there were no objects or corners just a trap wall
This game might as well be a scam. You buy into a build that's almost a year old and get practically no updates from the developers via their site. Trying to find out what version is currently up to date is near impossible with all the junk in their forum. The game *could* be alright, but the way they're handling everything about it makes it terrible. It's like they work on the game once a week or something.
the game is very glitchy, the collition boxes on moving platfroms are triggered WAY too easily(hitting the side will cause it to move even though you havent touched the top yet), not enough time is given for certian objectives that envolve death upon failure to complete in a certain time
Derivative gameplay and poor animations are the tip of the iceberg for this game. Enemies feel inconsequential and levels feel haphazard, an example of why random is not the same as procedural.
There are far better examples of roguelike games to be had in the form of Spelunky (free and soon to make its HD return to PC) and The Binding of Isaac (cheaper and regularly 75% off in steam sales).
I wanted to like this game but it's just a chore to "play".
