See the first pictures of the mainstory of ScrapYard Release Alpha: 1st March

We had the story of ScrapYard, of course, in our minds right from the beginning ... somehow. Because only in the last days has the whole really taken a ride. Our graphic designers have taken a look at a few storyboards and see what the results are:

Giant scrap mountain

As you see, we have not promised too much. The atmosphere of ScrapYard is a very gloomy one. You can see here the big scrap mountain the main slot of the whole game. Above himthe bright city, which is to be reached. The rest of this unreal world seems to be completely dead....but is it?

Scrap and hero

Here you can see some details like the wastewater pipes, which play a central role in the game. You can also see your "hero" or the "villain".

Hero western

On the last picture, you can see the player standing near a scrapyard. Why is he here and what happens next, you will find out next week when the open alpha starts.

ByteRockers' Games celebrate a premiere with the multiplayer top-down action shooter ScrapYard: The mixture of action and role play is the first extensive PC game of the Game Development Studio from Berlin. In Scrap Yard, the player fights against other players for valuable energy cores in the midst of a life-hostile world. In order to survive this battle, he develops a powerful character in the course of the game, optimizes his base and builds his own maps. The Alpha version of ScrapYard is available as a free download next week.

The fight between man and machine

The Alpha version of ScrapYard allows players to dive into the ugly land of cyborgs, robots and grotesque figures even before the official launch. Every corner holds wobbly clouds of smoke, contaminations, scrap and a lot of weird structures that scare even the most adventurous and fearless player.

Important energy cores

The player constantly competes for the scarce resources. In order to expand the character and their base as much as possible, all players need the valuable energy cores to become true combat machines. These are stored in the respective bases and can be stolen by other players. Therefore, the player must balance between offensive and defensive strategies. The goal is to reach higher levels in the internal league.

The more energy cores the player has won, the better the placement. In addition to the production of energy cores, the player constantly develops his own character by exchanging body parts and thus optimizing his abilities. He builds his own map with built in riddles, which he defends from opponents with ingenious defensive systems, or cleverly steers his character across the map in real time in the attack mode. With the collected scrap, the player can build strong items for their own scrap yard.
