Hello all, Kevin from Legit Games here.

We're going to be starting a Kickstarter campaign in the coming weeks for our game, Glyphs of Eldamir: Roguelike Edition, and we would love to have some feedback on what you think of our current page:

Click here for a preview of our Kickstarter campaign

A few things that we are unsure about and would love to know your thoughts on are:

  • Do you like the trailer?

  • Does the information provided about the game make you want to support us? If not, is there anything else we should add that you feel is missing?

  • Do the rewards/prices seem reasonable? Do you have any other ideas for possible rewards?

  • Which name do you prefer? Glyphs: Roguelike Edition or Glyphs of Eldamir: Roguelike Edition?

  • Is 60 days too long? We want to launch the campaign as soon as possible, but we also had the idea of showing the game off at GDC this year in San Francisco on March 21st-23rd. If we do, we'd thought it'd be nice to have the campaign in progress at that time so that we could maybe convince some folks to support us. (We'd hopefully have a short playable demo to help entice people.)

The problem is if we start the campaign before the end of January (as originally planned), it would already be over for a month before GDC even took place. It might not be a big deal since we're completely unsure as to how many people we'd even talk to, but if we wanted to have it running during GDC without making it 60 days long, we would need to postpone the start date until the first or second week of March, which is not ideal... Thoughts?

Feel free to leave a comment here or on the campaign itself -- either way works for us.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write down any thoughts you may have! It's greatly appreciated :)
