2) Best Action / Adventure – Finalists selected based on providing the best of both worlds, a sprinkle of Action with a dash of Adventure
3) Best Adventure – Finalists selected based on providing the best Adventure experience
4) Best AR / VR Experience -Finalists selected based on providing the best AR / VR experience
5) Best Casual – Finalists selected on providing the best Casual experience, some examples of this being simpler gameplay, mobile titles, and/or puzzle titles
6) Best Early Access – Finalists selected on providing the best Early Access experience, not necessarily being just from the Early Access platform but can also be a game that’s not released yet in general
7) Best Let’s Play – Finalists selected on providing the best Let’s Play experience, some examples of this being horror titles and/or comedy titles
8) Best Multiplayer – Finalists selected on providing the best Multiplayer experience
9) Best RPG – Finalists selected on providing the best RPG experience
10) Best Statement – Finalists selected on providing the best Statement with their game, some examples of this being an artistic statement or a game with a message
11) Best Strat / Sim – Finalists selected on providing the best Strategy or Simulation experience
12) Best Tabletop – Finalists selected on providing the best Tabletop experience

If selected, not only do you get a free booth, but we also want to put you on the spot. We want to give you “15 minutes of fame” and throw you on a stage to do whatever you want. Want to have a toga party on the stage showcasing your Roman game? Have at it. Want to do a presentation and keep is simple? Totally fine. Either way, you are picked as a finalist so you’re going to get your spotlight.
If you’re not selected, that’s okay… you’re still awesome and we appreciate the support. So on that note, if you took the time to enter your game and be considered, we want to reward you with some perks still. Just for entering in the Indie Playground, you have 2 options:
You can either buy your own booth at a discount or you can buy a spot in our Indie Arcade. If it’s a booth you want, that’s easy enough. If it’s the Indie Arcade, that’s as simple as uploading your game to an existing kiosk and just showing up. We’ll be in touch soon after finalists are picked to see if either of these peak your interest.
