Ancient Domains of Mystery is one of the best games ever, nevermind that it originally consisted of ASCII graphics, it easily swallowed hundreds of hours of my (and other people's) life. Now it's got even better. Takes a lot of patience and the ADOM Guide Book is heartily recommended.

Absolutely awesome metroidvania, backed this on Kickstarter. Had a blast playing it through on Hard, now attempting the God Slayer difficulty with second character, and hoping for 100% clear, instead of the previous 99%.
Graphics are gorgeous, the music is good, story is nice. A true gem.

Awesome game, my only gripes being about the very end game content - how some of those ROM's and achievements get really obscure - kinda feels like they ran out of steam and rushed the last details.
