Garry's Mod is a Mod. It says so in the title. So, if Garry's Mod is a full game, how does a full game like "Garry's Mod" require another game (example: Half-Life 2) to play it? But it has the word 'Mod' in it's own title. So, how can a full game require you to buy another game, not consider itself a mod, but still have mod in the title? Sounds like a load of fecal matter unloaded from a herd of pigs to me. Anyways - I'm usually lurking around here on ModDB. Checking for anything decent, whether it be a mod, a save file, or something else. If you are one visiting my profile to either bash me, or inquire about the Walkway Maze map, please visit, and play some of these fine mods: Nightmare House 2 1187 Sven Co-op Half-Life 2 Wars They Hunger Go-Mod Median XL Afraid of Monsters: Director's Cut I'm sure I missed some, but I personally recommend them to anyone that has the game th play them. Anyhow, bash me in the comments area below, otherwise, enjoy yourself.

Cry of Fear

Game review

Mod of the year, all years.
Review may contain a few spoilers, not very much, though.

Awesome mod, always had a tendency to call it a game (oh hell, it could have been developed into a stand-alone game, lol).

During my play time on this fantastic mod, I was pretty much always at the edge of my seat, wondering what was the next hellish creature to pop out, and scare the ever livin' **** outta me.

Anyways, going through the game, having to be very careful with your ammunition, syringes, and using your dodge ability at appropriate times was a challenge. The puzzles were interesting, personally reminded me of the first Resident Evil game (on the PS1).

On my first playthrough in CoF, I found a few frustrating moments in the game. More than one of these moments happened w/ the same type of monster. Looked like he's wearing a mask, wielding a chainsaw (first appearance is when he bashes through this Chained door, chasing you through an alley. Wasted some ammo, died a dozen times, before realizing he's pretty much invincible).

Stamina bar is a pain in the ***, takes forever to regenerate (at least that's what it seems like at times), and depletes in about 2 seconds (one main cause of death, when I first encountered that 'invincible' chainsaw-wielding monster).

Well, have to say - overall, it was very fun, challenging, and kept me wanting more. Would highly recommend it to anyone that owns HL1, or convince them to buy HL1 just to play this fantastic mod.

Great job, Team Psykskaller.

Reminds me of CS:S, HL1 DM, TF2. Awesome fun.

Has great maps, a lot of customization, and is a breeze to learn how to play. I practically fell in love with this FPS, it's pretty sweet.

If you're a fan of online shooters (even the offline practice is fun), it's a must have.

If you don't already own this game - buy it!

With the latest update (the 1.1 update), much more content has been added - among these include 3 new npcs, hard mode, 4 new bosses (3 are hard mode versions of regular bosses) - lots of fun is to be had.

It's sort of like your usual side scrolling game, but it's TF2!

Not only is it a demake of TF2, it does NOT have any of those overhyped hats.

Definitely worth the download.
