The Lord of the Nords joined

In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone, Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws The only shadow that the Desert knows:— "I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows"The wonders of my hand."— The City's gone,— Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose The site of this forgotten Babylon. We wonder,—and some Hunter may express Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace, He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess What powerful but unrecorded race Once dwelt in that annihilated place

Downloaded it, played it, then remembered I live at the bottom of the world and there's about a 2 second delay on driving inputs.

The numbers matter little, it's the politicization of a victim complex that was adopted afterward and the level of racial/religious hatred that is taught (and has been taught for centuries) in the upper echelons of Orthodox Jewry that is most harmful. Coincidentally, the danger posed by this is exactly the same as any other foreign culture, although with an unconventional mode of execution, relying rather on usury and manipulation of established systems than outright political, religious, or racial violence.

Israelis accept the fact that Islam poses their state a threat (without getting into the legitimacy of their state), and they take policies that reflect this. Similarly, should we not be allowed take steps to protect our culture and our way of life from foreign and dangerous belief systems?

If Jewish values are incongruent with Western values then they should be treated with the same skepticism and careful deliberation other hostile or foreign cultures are (were, should be, aren't).

This is not antisemitism, this realistically understanding the fundamentals of culture and civilizations as a whole.

EDIT: Of course, the numbers matter in the sense that when cases of "antisemitism" whether real or perceived arise, bringing up the 6 million tends to better support the argument that they have been targeted for extermination in the past...

Sorry, that was a bit of a rant I must admit. Safe to say, I did not enjoy Abrams' rendition of Star Wars.

I can say I enjoyed the prequels more, due to them actually having originality. And no, I'm not saying that to be a hipster, I really liked Rogue One.

Seriously looks like it follows ESB plot point by plot point. If this is as bad as Jew Jew's pile of steaming crap I will give up entirely on the sequels and spend my money watching the inter-episode releases, given Rogue One was actually good.

Majority of immigration was from European countries with European culture and values hence "a nation of immigrants", and even then there was issues. It all changes for the worse when you start importing people from completely different or downright hostile cultural backgrounds.

Uralvagonzavod still pushing it... MoD bought something like four in the end. No point when T-15 performs the same role but does everything better. Still, keep it in the public eye and you end up with customers, ahem, Algeria.

We always knew who was in charge Deep State. The hopes were that we could see a political reversal of the situation, someone that could work within the system legitimately... it was slim when you consider JFK, but it was all you guys had.

Next move is anyone's guess.

I only know bits here and there. Things such as lack of population growth and general apathy when it comes to sex are generally signs of a troubled society (of course we're on the other end of the spectrum, with complete sexual hedonism and late-Rome immorality, promotion of homosexuality as normal, destruction of marriage, transgenderism, bestiality, pedophilia sooner or later, etc.). Lately most of my info has been through Black Pigeon, although he strikes me as a bit of a weeb sometimes.

Hmm, I will attempt to grab it during the next sale I think.

US-Japan war, while possibly avoidable, wasn't really unexpected. Both sides teased with the idea, and Japan's various atrocities certainly makes it harder to see their perspective in a good light when looking back... But to think the US went to war with them for any other reason other than ambition is naive.

The nukes were completely unnecessary, and the forcing of Japan's surrender, rather than a peace treaty really destroyed their cultural heritage for years to come. Luckily, a quasi-Imperial restoration looks like it is in the works, which I genuinely believe is the best route for what is a nation that has some extremely disconcerting societal issues.

As for shilling fashy memes... not unsurprising, we people have to find a way to cope when you begin to see everything as being inherently degenerate in the West.

I need this game, it looks amazing.

Although we work better in the shadows, and I am not fond of many of the alt-right (((figureheads))), it is interesting to see a full blown collision between elements of the New Right (for lack of a better term) and the mainstream right.

A potential wheat from chaff situation.

Ominous-Spud @ Triskaphobia is realz.

Valve's game dev sector is practically dead, at best they develop proof of concepts for upcoming hardware...
They're the largest distribution platform for PC games by a country mile, and a multi-billion dollar company because of it, there's no reason for them to risk the investment.

There will be no Half-Life 3 or Source 2.5/3 other than maitaining the visuals of their current titles that net massive profits due to their persistent economies. Lets not forget that many of their previous games were essentially official adaptations of popular mods.

This is likely part of the problem... but the fly-by-wire is meant to allow for the modelling of the characteristics of a wide range of aircraft, right up to Tu-160 level, it's supposed to be complicated... it's even directly programmable if I recall. Probably too complex and unnecessary for export purposes though.

Constantinople was indeed a tragedy. Byzantium was never quite the same after that, guarding against both Western and Eastern flanks proved too much for that once powerful empire, quickly over taken by the tenacious and formidable Ottomans.

Yes, that's the man. I highly recommend him, he's co-authored and authored several pieces of literature, and has done extensive work on Italian Republicanism and the rise of city states, which I intend to read at some point. Those city states were fascinating, as was early Republicanism. I can probably thank Ezio Auditore for my interest in the era.

Politics/IR theory and Russian are my majors, but I thought I'd dabble in Medieval European History so as to give myself a solid historical background for better understanding today's political dilemmas.

Thank you, and likewise Joshua. I feel this quote is relatable to the conversation, although rather less academic in origin:
“... a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge.”
― George R.R. Martin's Tyrion Lannister.
