In the spirit of making the site work, a blog post...

I'm very glad to see that my old SSF mod v3.1, that is released the source files for back in 2006/07, was updated by desrat with the result of ppl still using it. We are already 8 years past the sell by date of that game, Swat 4. It was nice to see that ppl still play the game and use my mod to this day.

Arma 3 - For those who have a SQB interest, Arma 3 with a shitload of mods, does make a good substitute for Swat 4. Check out different mods here on the site for Arma 3. AGM, RHS, EricJ, MCC, ACRE2, Taskforce Radio etc are some of the mods worth mentioning.

Part of the SQB & milsim culture is the love of current and older weapons, vehicles, helo, planes, boats and other equipment that the player already know or have RL experience with. But what if yo could look past this, and look far into the future.

Imagine - an engine that allows you to player PVE(AI) & PVP. That has NO skills to be grinded, no limitation. You can pick up and use any weapon, buy, borrow, steal any ships/plane, get out of your seat & pull you're side arm to repel a boarding party. Armor, shield, energy and ballistics all to physic laws etc. How?

One name: Star Citizen!

The space ship single seater module is out, and is already the beset space sim ever made. The FPS module us coming this april, and early peak combined with designer comments about this game using Arma 3, Swat 4 as bases for the gameplay, and adding in parkour, 0 G, and low gravity environments etc, give a promise of excellence far beyond A3 and Swat 4.
