This one is a thin 22 gauge steel plating.
It will have 19 gauge steel wiring under the plating and will tie into a thick rubber coated synthetic weave, followed by cotton gloves.
After some more filing, a layer of paint, the right glove will finally be complete.
I don't know what it is for yet.
