I'd assume that's the school. Very nice use of fog layers, creates a good eerie feeling. Keep up the awesomeness Matt!

I'll make sure to rename the Q.U.A.D Data Directory for ALPHA 3 so you won't get the error.

Are you sure you didn't extract everything in the folders?

Try changing the controls on the launch menu. If the problems persists, try using your arrow keys.

I may have inverted the controls while editing. I'll revert them back to original and upload and updated build this afternoon.

There were a few collision errors that I didn't fix before I made the alpha build. I found out that they were caused by a movement script. That was also the cause of the high jump glitch.

Linux will not have an ALPHA 1 download. Only ALPHA 2 and every alpha beyond that. I mentioned it in the latest progress update.

Yes, it is in ALPHA. Alpha builds usually don't have a lot and I'm using them to test out gameplay mechanics for other people, and to run a trial and error for system requirements. ALPHA 2 will have a lot more.

Like I said, I didn't even know this was from another game. I'm not going to recreate anything from F.E.A.R, the hallway in Q.U.A.D will just be a hallway with nothing in it.

Try uninstalling and redownload the game again and see if that works.
