its become my favorite game, its mind blowing and it can have some downright depressing moments... its frictional's best work.
10/10 Unforgettable and Clearly Disturbing.
The Game started with a Disturbing Intro. A darkened room, a voice saying "Daddy, Daddy. Please don't Kill me." as if something was mocking the player. Electrical Sparks appear and lights turn on one by one. Engines roar and The Machine Roars to life. The game starts on a eerie state, the player moves through out the mansion and into the depths of the machine to find his children. The game has moments when you open a door and something catches you off guard. the enemies are disturbing and are almost childlike, there are points when you almost feel sorry for them.
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs Deserves the proper praise as the original. A Unforgettable experience.
to me S:TA had some flaws. The gameplay got repetetive and boring after the third level(WHICH WAS REALLY RAGE FUELING) and the original ending was quite disappointing. I was questioning if i actually spent my money for a good game or a disapointing game. Then the steam version was released and it was a bit better and the new ending was nice but in my opinion my rate would be 7/10 Decent but flawed.
I Have to say, this is a great game. It's quite an unusual game but it makes it worth a download. i do recommend this to horror fans.
Absolutely Wonderful. The Backstory was well put. I Guess the game is a Story Driven Ghost story kinda like dear esther.

A Brilliant masterpiece, the game is about immersion and tension build-up. the enemies (Servant Grunt, The Brute and the suitor) were disturbing enough. The levels were beautifully designed. The Sanity meter was very original. Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a Must-play for Horror lovers. Just remember it is not famous because of that idiot PewDiePie, Its famous because of the Suspense. an Indirect sequel will be released next year Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.
