For the ModDB servers Youtube.com
A torrent soon would be nice though, since the servers are going to be flooded. Any news on that, or will it be downloaded just by servers for now?

It actually wasn't my project, I just put it on IndieDB, with the developer's permission of course.
That's just for menus and captions though; and they're poorly done translations. Dialogue and textures are still in Russian.
I had the same issue. Do you have an SLI or Crossfire set up? It took me disabling my SLI to make the game stable. After disabling this, not one crash.
Hey, I was trying to stream this game earlier today, but whenever I launched the game, it made my computer get the blue screen after getting to the main menu. Is anyone else having this issue? It looks like it'd be a fun game to play.
Thanks.
Better question is, why not? Improvements can always be made later on, but this is more or less a rather simple mod.
If you really need to know, use ripent, find the entities for the weapons that way, and you'll know their codes. Or bug the guys to release a .fgd... I fail to see the point though.
I don't see many relations at all :P
It's easily possible, but, I don't think it will. Besides, fall damage shouldn't be much of a problem anyway.
Well many of these things are from the original game, so they're going to be naturally low quality. Sound reworking is probably going to be done later.
Bad news, guys, sorry. The project has been stopped, due to possible legal issues. It's still being discussed, but I may have to take down the downloads. My apologies :\
Yeah I've neglected this page. :\
Try to find a "Un-Patcher", it should be pretty easy to find.
Actually, we legally can. Anything we actually took from the original game was from the share ware episode (anything used in it is pretty much fair game for anyone), and we are making everything else, so we aren't "stealing" from id Software. And the reason I decided to use the Half-Life engine was partially it started as a map project for Sven Co-Op with the former co-project head, and partially because you can do so much with the GoldSRC engine. Take PARANOIA for example, it did something absolutely bloody amazing with the engine (and I thank them for releasing their source code.) And for people playing it, they don't have to worry about space, about being able to run it, anything, really, the only thing they might have to worry about is compatibility. Half-Life still has a very strong modding community, and yet I rarely see people complain to others about using this engine, so I guess we're special :D. But anyway, what I'm trying to say is, id Software has no reason to sue for using their material, and we chose the GoldSRC because you can do so much with it, and everyone can use it no problem (plus it's harder to get that "doomy-feel" in modern engines)
It isn't but it is being worked on rather sluggishly. Also, my computer died recently and I couldn't get the files off of it, so I lost quite a bit of my work. Mostly maps and sprites, though, so it's not too bad.
I think it's supposed to be the Grenade Launcher.
Yeah the forums proved to be useless. Oh well.
Well it is primarily English speakers (from what I can tell) that use this website, so it might be a good idea to have a translator on the team for updates.
Try to find a audio converter. That's my only advice.
Hey look, these comments are turning into Youtube comments.
*sigh*
I'm not to sure how well it would work. I mean, this isn't a "Quickly play a game" kind of multiplayer, this is a full PVP campaign, so it'd be a little weird to find a random person to play with from a list of servers and stick with them for hours upon hours of gameplay.
What's with all these really odd, small and crap mods coming out? I have a feeling its something to do with trolls bugging that one guy whos making the hl 1997 mod. :\
One: It's been released, the boycott failed.
Two: It is kinda wrong about releasing a sequal to a multi-player game one year after, instead of it being a expansion pack or a series of updates (Not even going to mention about how at the same time we have to wait years for HL2 episodes, while they can put enough effort into releasing sequals in a year)
Doesn't change the fact that English is a hard language to learn, and there are no rules about needed to be good at English to be on this website.
Extract the files into program files/steam/steamapps/yourusername/half-life, restart steam, and it should be in your game list.
I usually support small, un-creative, and possibly failure mods, but this one... *sigh* Sorry, I just can't, this, as it seems, is just beyond help.
