Yep! You should be able to get your Steam key from Desura. To claim your Steam key, visit this link: Indiedb.com
And find Paranormal on the list. Click keys. Your Paranormal Steam key should be there.
To activate it on Steam, open Steam and press 'ADD A GAME...' and then 'Activate A Product On Steam'.

Buy the version for the platform you see yourself using more often. The Desura version is likely to get updates quicker, but that won't always be the case. I'll try to keep the versions more or less on par with each service, since I will never stop supporting Desura. I'd try out both services and see which one you prefer, then make your purchase on the one you prefer. Both are amazing in different ways.

It doesn't matter what version of Windows you use as long as it's Vista or above, including Windows 7. It matters how strong your computer is. What are your specs? (graphics card, RAM, processor, etc.)

That's part of the camera UI on the menu, not indicating the version of the game.

A Steam Mac version will be available in the future. I can't say when yet, though. I'll let everyone know when I do :)

I love Outlast. It's a cool take on the found-footage style horror in a game. Paranormal is very different than Outlast :)

Pretty much every horror game that's come out recently :D

You have your games filtered to a certain operating system. To fix:
Go to the info page of any game on Desura
In the top right it should say Platforms - Windows, Mac, Linux (some may not be there, depending on the game--screenshot: I.imgur.com)
Click on Windows
All games will now show up in your collection, including Paranormal

Desura is great, it's a shame you're having issues. Have you tried closing Desura and relaunching it? Contact their support. They've got an awesome team full of people who are quick to help with any and all issues :)

When the game is available on Steam, I'll send them out :)

For now you can play the free betas on indieDB until you can afford the full game :)

Working hard on Paranormal: The Town, Paranormal's upcoming FREE DLC expansion pack that adds a completely new campaign, story, characters, etc. I'll continue patching, fixing, adding to, and improving the original game, of course!
